Alfred Mann Foundation, a self-funded, MedTech incubator, named after its late renegade founder, needed a new name and brand to move into the future, holding onto the mission of creating novel life-changing technologies to make this world a better place.
We created the name, huMannity, nodding to the name of the founder, but also alluding to the foundation’s goal to help humans see, hear, and walk that couldn’t. After a lengthy time spent interviewing key stakeholders and understanding the competition and marketspace we developed a robust brand with go-to market visuals and language that allowed the company to attract and retain young talent in addition to communicating with a new generation of generous donors.
