When Husband and Wife owners, Jon and Sarah, with roots in Minnesota’s lake country, but ties to Charleston and its water ways, decided to build a brand and business from the ground up, they wanted to connect their love of the outdoors with the desire to get everyone out on the water.
The word “Va” or “Go” in Spanish, part of the company name, became a rally call to get people out on the water, to prove that paddle boarding really wasn’t as hard as it looked.
We connected to every part of the brand and product development process, designing the logo, the board, the board and bag graphics and the e-com site. Brand aesthetics, intended to communicate a quality or premium product, also conveyed a no-coast sentiment or brand that wasn’t just coastal or midwestern.
